You are undoubtedly an incredible dressmaker; it's so obvious that you love making all those unique pieces. To this day, I'm still fascinated with my quinceañera dress, and I know I'll be just as, or even more, in love with my wedding dress.

As I told you, Marcela, when we first met, having my own unique, custom-made dress was a way for me to heal a generational wound. My mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother all got married in whatever they could find, very young, and in borrowed dresses. None of them had the experience of a custom-made wedding dress. And I wanted to break that streak by being the first to have that experience. I never wanted a white dress; as an artist, I've always loved the color, and since I love history and fashion, I've always been clear that a bride doesn't have to wear white, but rather "her best dress." So, the color of my dress is light blue (my favorite), and the shape and design are inspired by dresses from the era between 1910 and 1930 (Titanic London!), when all women wore incredibly unique, custom-made dresses.
